As the first commercial hire, you will own the full B2B SaaS sales cycle for Conlio’s AI-native document verification platform. You’ll drive revenue by identifying repeatable acquisition patterns, building pipeline with freight forwarders, and closing deals in a complex, manual industry. This is a hands-on builder role with direct founder collaboration.

Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Execute the full sales cycle from initial outbound and discovery to demos, high-stakes negotiations, and closing deals with freight forwarders.
  • Generate top-of-funnel pipeline through hands-on outbound, industry events, and on-site customer visits to deeply understand logistics workflows.
  • Partner directly with the founder and product team to sharpen the Ideal Customer Profile based on real-world market signals and buyer feedback.

Candidate profile

  • Proven B2B SaaS seller with a track record of managing complex deal cycles and closing software contracts in conservative or non-urgent environments.
  • Native or fluent German speaker (required) with the cultural nuance to build trust and momentum within the DACH logistics and freight forwarding market.
