Founding Engineer at Realmforge - AI director for interactive entertainment

Join Realmforge as our first engineering hire to architect the future of interactive storytelling. You will build a real-time AI narrative engine and UGC platform that allows creators to generate immersive 2D and video experiences. Working directly with our CTO, you will own the foundational infrastructure that scales AI-driven entertainment for global audiences.

• Design and scale real-time platform architecture to deliver AI-generated visuals, voice, and text with low-latency responsiveness.
• Orchestrate complex AI pipelines and manage persistent state across long-form player sessions for a coherent narrative experience.
• Build robust creator tooling and engineering foundations, from CI/CD pipelines to observability and testing for non-deterministic systems.

• Proven track record of shipping and maintaining production-grade systems with deep knowledge of systems thinking and scalability tradeoffs.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python and modern web stacks, with the autonomy to lead projects from conception to deployment.
• Practical experience or strong interest in LLM-based systems, agentic workflows, or real-time media delivery within a fast-paced startup environment.
