You will spearhead the transition from LLM integration to advanced AI agents, rearchitecting the core chat system to drive deeper engagement. Managing a growing team of over 15 MLEs, you will define the technical strategy for state-of-the-art production LLMs.

• Define and execute the strategy for deploying advanced LLMs and AI agents into a high-traffic production environment.
• Manage and mentor a growing chapter of Machine Learning Engineers, including senior leadership and principal-level talent.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering leads to identify new opportunities for AI-driven user retention.

• Extensive experience leading large ML teams (10+) and managing managers within fast-paced, high-growth AI or tech companies.
• Deep technical expertise in LLMs, Transformers, and Natural Language Processing, likely backed by a relevant PhD or research background.
• Proven track record of moving beyond research to ship commercial products that significantly improve user engagement and business metrics.

• Access eight years of proprietary conversational data to build sophisticated, highly personalized financial AI agents at scale.
• Influence the entire product roadmap by reporting directly to the VP of Tech and collaborating with the CEO.
• Lead a high-talent bar team of Principal Engineers and scale the function to over 35 people this year.
