As a Lead AI/Python Engineer, you will architect scalable backend systems for an AI assistant capable of handling 80% of property management administration. You'll bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and production deployment, mentoring a high-performing team while shaping the technical strategy for a platform redefining a regulation-driven UK market.

• Architect and build scalable Python-based backend systems and APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django within a microservices environment.
• Drive innovation in AI integration, overseeing the fine-tuning of models and deploying them into production environments using Huggingface and Ollama.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a high-performing engineering culture while collaborating with Product and Design teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with deep expertise in Python and experience building SaaS or automation platforms.
• Holds a First-class or strong degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a top-tier university, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and a desire to take ownership in a fast-paced, office-based startup environment in Victoria.
