• Lead and mentor a focused team of three engineers while remaining hands-on as a primary individual contributor to the core backend codebase.
• Architect and maintain the mission-critical internal back-office platform, including configuration management, operational dashboards, and internal APIs.
• Identify and productionize AI opportunities using LLM APIs and RAG pipelines to automate repetitive tasks and optimize developer experience.

• 7+ years of professional backend engineering experience with a strong proficiency in Python and modern cloud infrastructure like AWS, PostgreSQL, and Terraform.
• Practical experience integrating LLMs or AI orchestration frameworks into production-quality products, moving beyond simple prototypes to scalable business solutions.
• Proven ability to lead or mentor engineers in a hands-on capacity, managing sprint planning and delivery while maintaining a high quality bar through code reviews.

• Lead a brand-new, greenfield function with the autonomy to shape the technical direction and architectural standards for both internal platforms and AI strategy.
