Product Designer at Arva AI - VC-backed AI startup

As Arva AI's first dedicated Product Designer, you will own the end-to-end design experience for high-stakes AI agents that automate complex AML, KYC, and KYB investigations. You will transform clunky compliance processes into intuitive, data-heavy workflows, cutting operational costs for global financial institutions by up to 80% through superior UX.

• Own end-to-end design for key product workflows, spanning user research with compliance teams through to high-fidelity prototyping and engineering handoff.
• Architect and maintain a scalable design system and component library that balances high-density data accessibility with interaction quality.
• Partner directly with the CEO and CTO to iterate rapidly on product strategy, using real user feedback to define the future of AI-driven compliance.

• 3+ years of product design experience with a proven track record of shipping complex B2B SaaS or fintech products in fast-moving environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in building and owning design systems that enable high-velocity engineering teams while maintaining visual polish.
• A proactive, self-directed mindset with a deep obsession for user outcomes and the ability to navigate high-stakes, regulated design challenges.

• Significant ownership as the first design hire, moving away from agency partners to build the product's visual and interactive soul from scratch.
• Strong institutional backing from Y Combinator (S24) and Google’s AI fund (Gradient Ventures) with a recent $3M seed round.
