Product Engineer at Gaia.family - Series B fertility fintech

Join a mission-driven team building the financial infrastructure for family-building. You will develop insurance-backed financing platforms that make IVF accessible and affordable. Working in a small, high-agency engineering team, you will ship features across underwriting, payments, and risk scoring to help real families navigate the financial challenges of fertility treatment.

• Design and build scalable software for complex financial processes including insurance underwriting, risk scoring, and payment servicing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams to iterate on features using TypeScript, Next.js, and Python.
• Improve system quality and developer experience by investing in infrastructure, automated testing, and observability using AWS and Vercel.

• Over 3 years of full-stack engineering experience in a fast-paced startup environment, with a strong leaning towards backend development.
• Proficiency in modern tech stacks including TypeScript (React/Next.js/Node.js) and Python, with solid experience in PostgreSQL and RDBMS.
• A pragmatic problem-solver who prefers simple solutions over complexity and is comfortable navigating the ambiguity of an early-stage fintech environment.
