As a Product Engineer at Sano Genetics, you will own the end-to-end development of features that connect patients with life-saving clinical trials. Working in a high-trust, remote UK team, you will bridge the gap between product strategy and technical execution, building scalable systems for genomic data while helping 4 of the top 20 global pharma companies accelerate medical research.

• Own features from early discovery and design through to implementation, testing, and release, ensuring high reliability for sensitive genomic data.
• Partner closely with Product teams to identify and prioritize the right problems to solve, balancing rapid iteration with long-term system maintainability.
• Evolve core platform capabilities using a pragmatic, stack-agnostic approach focused on customer outcomes rather than just technical perfection.

• Significant experience shipping production software using modern backend languages like Python, Go, or Ruby on Rails in iterative startup environments.
• Proven ability to operate with ambiguity and self-direction, taking a product-first approach to engineering decisions and business trade-offs.
• Technical expertise in designing robust APIs and working with data-heavy systems where data integrity and security (ISO27001/HIPAA) are paramount.
