Join Duckbill as our Founding Product Marketer and take the lead on defining the narrative for the next generation of cloud financial management. This is a high-impact, hybrid role in San Francisco where you will work directly with the CEO to architect our market position, translate technical expertise into compelling value stories, and earn significant equity as we scale.

As the founding Product Marketer, you will define the narrative for Skyway, Duckbill’s SaaS platform for cloud financial data. You’ll move beyond demand gen to architect category-defining positioning and sales enablement for enterprise buying committees. Working directly with the CEO, you will transform deep domain expertise into a repeatable, high-impact market strategy.

Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Partner directly with the Co-Founder & CEO to own and execute the company’s global positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Extract domain knowledge from expert "Cloud Economists" to craft compelling narratives that resonate with CFOs, engineering leaders, and procurement teams.
  • Create a comprehensive sales enablement suite, including competitive intelligence programs and persona-specific collateral to drive complex enterprise deals.

Candidate profile

Who this is a fit for

  • 3-5 years of dedicated product marketing experience within the B2B enterprise software space, specifically managing complex stakeholder buying committees.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching technical products and building go-to-market processes from scratch in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Strategic thinker with deep analytical skills and curiosity for domains like FinOps, FP&A, or cloud infrastructure management.
