Senior Finance Manager at Focaldata.com — Fast-growing AI research tech

As the first dedicated finance leader for a high-growth scale-up generating £9m revenue, you will own the entire finance function end-to-end. Reporting to the leadership team, you'll transition from a departing Director to shape financial operations, provide commercial insights, and build the robust systems required to support global expansion across 130+ markets.

• Manage end-to-end finance operations including month-end close, payroll, tax compliance, and oversight of external advisors.
• Drive strategic planning through 3-statement modeling, rolling forecasts, and scenario analysis for hiring and pricing decisions.
• Partner with leadership to deliver investor-ready reporting, board materials, and commercial deal support to fuel continued growth.

• Has 4+ years of experience in commercial finance or FP&A, specifically within a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
• Demonstrates advanced financial modelling skills including sensitivity analysis and the ability to translate complex data into actionable narratives.
• Possesses a builder mindset with experience managing finance tech stacks like QuickBooks or Datarails and a drive to automate manual workflows.
