Responsibilities
What you will do
- Design and maintain the backend systems and operational dashboards that power Midnite’s internal platform using Python, Flask, and AWS.
- Lead and mentor a team of three engineers, managing sprint planning, professional development, and technical direction as a player-manager.
- Prototype and ship AI-powered improvements such as automated code review tooling, intelligent alerting, and internal assistants for non-technical teams.

- 7+ years of backend engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python and a high bar for software architecture and engineering standards.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring engineers in a hands-on capacity while successfully delivering complex technical projects in a production environment.
