Senior Platform Engineer at Kyckr - RegTech API Platform

As the sole Platform Engineer, you will own Kyckr’s Azure ecosystem end-to-end, managing complex infrastructure that sources real-time data from 300+ registries globally. You'll drive the modernization of legacy systems while scaling a new Registry Hub architecture, ensuring reliability and security for a high-profile client base of banks and fintechs.

• Manage and evolve Azure Landing Zone architecture using Terraform and Bicep for application services like Functions, APIM, and Service Bus.
• Oversee the Kubernetes cluster orchestrating high-scale web scraping infrastructure and maintain over 33 YAML-based Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Lead platform security and governance by enforcing RBAC, Azure Policy, and Managed Identities to meet rigorous fintech compliance standards.

• 5–8 years of hands-on Platform Engineering experience with deep expertise in core Azure services and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Bicep).
• Proven track record in Kubernetes administration, container orchestration, and managing complex CI/CD environments within Azure DevOps.
• Strong security mindset and independent problem-solving skills, capable of communicating technical trade-offs clearly to a distributed, international engineering team.

• Full autonomy as a solo platform lead reporting directly to the CTO, with total ownership over the Azure Landing Zone and cloud evolution.
