Responsibilities

What you will do

  • Design and own core infrastructure, including PostgreSQL and vector databases, to support high-scale AI claims processing.
  • Build and deploy production-grade features using Python, GraphQL, and GCP, maintaining full ownership of your code from spec to ship.
  • Collaborate on the evolution of multi-modal AI models that handle intake, fraud detection, and analytics for global insurance carriers.

Candidate profile

  • Possesses 2-5 years of experience building scalable backend systems, ideally with a background in Python and cloud mastery (AWS/GCP/Docker).
  • Demonstrates high agency and a "founding engineer" mindset, having previously solved complex technical problems in high-intensity environments like HFT or quant shops.
  • Holds a strong technical pedigree from top-tier institutions or competitive programming backgrounds (e.g., ICPC, Cambridge, Harvard, or Oxford).
