Software Engineer (Infrastructure) at $30M Benchmark-backed AI developer tools startup

You will own the entire infrastructure domain for a high-growth platform reviewing 1 billion lines of code monthly for 7,000+ customers. You'll build sandboxed execution environments, scale Kubernetes clusters, and operationalize on-premise deployments for enterprise giants. This is a high-ownership role at a $180M valuation startup redefining autonomous code validation.

• Design, scale, and maintain robust Kubernetes clusters and container runtimes to support massive usage growth and billions of lines of code.
• Build and manage sandboxed or isolated execution environments to allow agents to safely run and test code changes autonomously.
• Work directly with enterprise customers to deploy the platform into on-premise environments and build tools to operationalize this process at scale.

• 5+ years of experience with container runtimes, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform, and primary cloud providers like AWS.
• Proven background building or operating infrastructure at compute-heavy companies like AWS, Modal, Vercel, or similar cloud-scale platforms.
• Strong expertise in computer networking, Linux systems, and hypervisors, with a passion for tinkering with compute clusters and performance tuning.

• Backed by $30M from elite investors including Benchmark, Y Combinator, and Paul Graham, with a high-velocity culture of talent-dense engineers from Stripe, Google, and Figma.
• Direct impact on a product used by Nvidia, Coinbase, and Scale AI, solving the complex challenge of autonomous, agent-led code reviews and bug detection.
• Deep technical ownership over net-new systems like sandboxed execution environments and automated feature branch deployments in a fast-paced, in-person SF environment.
