Responsibilities
What you will do
- Lead the monolith-to-services decomposition using proven patterns like Strangler Fig and domain-driven design for a high-growth platform.
- Design and implement scalable AI infrastructure including vector databases, embedding pipelines, and LLM orchestration to power automated chat and moderation.
- Architect and optimise database strategies for high-throughput workloads to support tens of millions of monthly active users.

- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and shipping distributed systems at scale for high-growth consumer platforms.
- Deep technical expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS, with a track record of managing PostgreSQL at massive scale.
- Fluent with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor and Claude Code, with the ability to mentor other engineers in adopting these technologies.
