Staff Software Engineer, Product at $9.8M Seed-stage AI SRE startup

Join a high-velocity team building an autonomous AI agent that investigates production incidents 10X faster than manual debugging. As a Staff-level hire, you will define the product category for AI-native site reliability engineering, translating complex 2AM production pain into seamless autonomous reasoning systems that already achieve 78%+ accuracy at scale.

• Design and build the core investigation systems, including data flows and integration points that surface autonomous agent reasoning to human engineers.
• Lead product discovery by joining customer war rooms and observing live debugging sessions to turn user friction into concrete technical features.
• Set high-level engineering standards and make critical technical calls across the Python backend and full-stack integrations to maintain shipping velocity.

• Proven experience owning products end-to-end, with a background in shipping complex software and carrying a pager for production systems at scale.
• Deep expertise in the observability stack (Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus) and a strong instinct for translating fuzzy production problems into concrete solutions.
• AI-native mindset with an active interest in evaluation loops and integrating LLM-based agents into professional engineering workflows.
