As the first dedicated recruiter, you will own the full hiring lifecycle to scale a world-class team. You will lead end-to-end recruitment for AI/ML, infrastructure, and GTM roles, leveraging AI-powered tools to source top-tier talent. This is a hands-on role in San Francisco designed for a high-grit recruiter who thrives in fast-paced startup environments.

About the company

LlamaIndex is building the document infrastructure for AI agents. It contains a best-in-class agentic document processing engine to parse the most complex documents and translate them into formats that humans and AI can use. It also contains a variety of tools at the semantic layer (extraction/search) and agentic layer (workflows) to enable knowledge work over documents.

What you'll do

What you will do

  • Manage the complete recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, outreach, screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation for technical and GTM roles.
  • Implement and tune AI-powered sourcing tools (e.g., Juicebox, LinkedIn Recruiter) to build high-precision candidate pipelines with accuracy and speed.
  • Partner directly with hiring managers across engineering and product to define requirements and deliver high-quality candidate slates in shifting priority environments.
