Job Seeker terms

Welcome to Jack & Jill (the "Platform"), operated by Tinker Tailor Talent Limited ("we," "us," or "our"). Where you see a reference to "Jack & Jill," "we," "us," or "our," this refers to our legal entity.

These Job Seeker terms ("Terms") apply to your access and use of our candidate-facing Services. When you create an account or otherwise use the Platform, you will be agreeing to these Terms, so please read them carefully and continue to check here periodically for any updates.

1. Who We Are

Legal Entity: Tinker Tailor Talent Limited is registered in England and Wales, Company No. 16324763, with a registered address at 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE.

2. Eligibility & Onboarding

Minimum Age: You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

Registration: You'll need to create an account before you start using the Platform. Each user should only register a single account.

You'll then speak with "Jack" (our AI) over call or chat for approximately 20 minutes so that he can understand your experience, preferences, and career goals. Whilst you will still receive matches if you don't complete this step, they may be less relevant and not tailored to your profile.

If we believe that an account has been registered using a bot or other automated methods, we will remove it.

Contact Details: We'll need to get in touch from time to time so please keep your contact details accurate and up to date.

If you have any concerns that your account details or other personal data has been misused or stolen then please tell us immediately, at legal@jackandjill.ai.

Account Use & Termination: Once you've signed up you're under no obligation to use or continue using the Services. You're free to close your account and stop using the Platform whenever you like by deleting your data and account from within your dashboard or contacting us at legal@jackandjill.ai.

Please use your account responsibly. If we reasonably believe that:

  • The user has not complied with these Terms; and/or
  • The user's access or use of the Platform may cause harm to Jack & Jill, other users, or third parties; and/or
  • The user's use of the Platform may breach any law or regulations; and/or it's necessary to protect the Platform or the Jack & Jill brand.

Then we may suspend or terminate the account. This will be our decision alone and will not entitle the user to bring any claim for compensation.

3. Scope of Service & Licence

Jack & Jill provides AI-driven recruitment and job-search assistance by identifying suitable roles and facilitating introductions to prospective employers. Whilst we'll do all we can to help you land your dream role, we cannot guarantee a user any interviews or job offers.

We allow our users to use the Platform on a "licensed basis". This means we provide you and other users with temporary permission to use the Platform for so long as you're using the Services. This right is personal to you and is always at our discretion.

However, the intellectual property rights which exist in the Platform (like trademark rights, copyright, data rights), as well as the underlying software code, will always be exclusively owned by Jack & Jill.

4. Use of AI & Calls

AI Accuracy & Availability

Our Platform uses AI technologies. AI (and specifically large language models) is evolving rapidly and may contain errors or make mistakes. "Jack" (our AI) may also provide inaccurate information regarding salary ranges and professional guidance.

The information and guidance provided by "Jack" (our AI) is therefore for informational purposes only and should never be relied upon as definitive professional advice. Nothing we do or say should be taken as any kind of binding legal or contractual commitment – you should always independently assess any information for yourself before acting on it.

AI Conversations: The Services include voice calls that may be started by or involve "Jack" (our AI) or "Jill" (the 2nd AI), and which record what you say to better understand your professional background and preferences. We also use this input to improve our Services more generally, for the benefit of all of our users. In using the Platform and the Services you agree to us using that input (which may include personal data) for that specific purpose.

5. Privacy Policy and Data Sharing

At Jack & Jill we take your privacy very seriously. To learn more about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, please read our Privacy Policy.

6. Our Liability

We strive to find you the perfect role but equally it's always the employer's decision – we cannot guarantee that you'll receive any interviews.

Given this, we cannot accept liability for outcomes beyond our control, including any losses you may experience as a result of using the Platform or Services. This includes any acts or errors by an employer or any other third party, but is otherwise a general exclusion (other than where we're not allowed to avoid responsibility under the law).

Equally, whilst we take reasonable steps to ensure accuracy on the Platform and in our Services, we can never guarantee perfect results due to the ever-evolving nature of AI technology. For the same reasons, the Platform may occasionally be inaccessible, whether because of technology glitches or for maintenance purposes.

7. Your Responsibilities and Liability

We expect users to adhere to certain basic promises, not only for our own benefit and to help us deliver the Services but also to be fair to our other users. When using the Platform you agree not to:

  • Submit false or misleading information.
  • Engage in harassment, hateful speech, or any form of discrimination.
  • Attempt to disrupt or damage the Platform or to take any actions that would impact upon its security.

Where this does happen we may not only investigate, suspend or cancel that account, but also bring a claim against any responsible user(s) for any and all loss or damage we might suffer as a result. If necessary and appropriate, we may also refer particularly serious matters to the relevant authorities.

If Jack & Jill introduced you to your new employer, you must notify us within 30 days of signing at contact@jackandjill.ai. This is for our own bookkeeping purposes and so we can keep the Services free for other users.

Please also review the End User Licence Agreement which applies to your use of the Platform.

8. General Terms

If we do not do a particular thing or assert a particular right on one occasion, that does not mean we're then prohibited from doing so at a later date.

We may need to transfer or assign our rights and duties under these Terms to other parties, either to carry out those tasks on our behalf or in full if (for example) the business is sold at some future date. These Terms shall continue to apply in full to users in these circumstances.

If any of these Terms are found to be invalid or unenforceable under the law that will not affect any of the other Terms, which will continue to apply.

These Terms are written and will apply in line with English Law. We'll always try to resolve any dispute by good faith negotiations, but if either party ever wishes to make a formal claim then it will be lodged with and decided by the English Courts.

9. Changes to These Terms

It may be necessary for us to update these Terms from time to time but we'll always tell you about any material changes either by email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Please ensure you read any updates as, if you continue to use the Platform after we notify you, you'll be taken to have accepted them.
