Agentic Engineer — Full Stack at Objection
Join an elite team building the truth infrastructure for the next century. This AI-native startup is developing a platform for adversarial adjudication at civilisational scale, blending deep work with an incredible lifestyle. You’ll spend three weeks a month working asynchronously followed by a mandatory week-long summit in rotating global cities like Nassau, NYC, and London. We are looking for high-velocity full-stack engineers to architect greenfield systems for structured dispute resolution and ELO-rated fact-checking. Role overview
Objection is an AI tribunal that allows individuals or organizations to file formal objections to published claims, particularly in media, for adjudication by an AI jury composed of models from xAI, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and Mistral. It conducts adversarial investigations with human investigators (including former FBI and CIA agents), issues evidence-based judgments on claims as true, false, or insufficient evidence, and aims to create a public record.
What you will do
- Design and architect real-time adversarial workflows and AI-native systems for structured argumentation and dispute resolution.
- Integrate large language models and agentic programming patterns into the core product to automate evidentiary analysis and adjudication.
- Build and scale robust data pipelines and the infrastructure layer necessary to support a global platform for adversarial fact-checking.
Who this is a fit for
- Proficient in full-stack software engineering with a track record of shipping production-grade products in high-velocity, high-ambiguity environments.
- Expert in modern AI tooling and LLM integration, specifically focused on agentic programming and automated workflow design.
- Exceptional written communicator who thrives in asynchronous work environments and possesses a high bias toward rapid building and iteration.
Why this role is remarkable
- Work on category-defining truth infrastructure that uses adversarial AI and structured methodology to solve global-scale adjudication challenges.
- Unique hybrid lifestyle: 3 weeks of deep asynchronous work per month followed by a mandatory one-week summit in cities like Nassau, NYC, or London.
- High-autonomy environment where you own features end-to-end, from architecture to deployment, within a small team of elite engineers.
