Role overview
Milo is an AI software company that provides a secure, conversational interface for business data, connecting to tools like CRMs, analytics platforms, and other internal systems so teams can ask natural-language questions and instantly get insights without writing SQL or building dashboards. Its product focuses on “chat with your data” functionality, enabling users to query metrics, generate charts, analyze trends, and surface key business insights directly from existing data sources, helping non-technical stakeholders make data‑driven decisions more quickly. Milo positions itself as an AI co-worker for business intelligence and data teams, emphasizing secure connections to company tools, governance over data access, and workflow features that embed insights into daily decision-making.
What you will do
- Design and implement Python-based integrations to connect diverse customer data sources—from Salesforce and Jira to complex SQL databases—into the Milo.ai platform.
- Deploy and configure custom AI agents tailored to specific business needs, such as tracking brewery revenue or analyzing player behavior for gaming companies.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, whiteboarding data architectures with CTOs while guiding non-technical operations teams through platform capabilities.
Who this is a fit for
- Holds a technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics and possesses strong coding skills in Python and SQL for building data pipelines.
- Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, with the ability to navigate technical deep-dives with senior engineers and simplified explanations for business users.
- Thrives in fast-paced, customer-facing environments with a resilient mindset and a passion for solving difficult data integration and ETL challenges.
Why this role is remarkable
- Work at the cutting edge of AI and data analytics, building an “AI data analyst” that empowers non-technical teams to query 700+ data sources in plain English.
- High-ownership environment where you will directly shape how Milo.ai onboards customers and influence the product roadmap based on real-world field feedback.
- Join an early-stage team with proven leadership—founded by Dr. Andreas Koeberl and Philipp Buschhaus—working out of a collaborative Central London office.
