Forward Deployed Engineer at Assort Health

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own the technical execution of health system implementations, building complex EHR integrations and custom AI workflows. You will bridge the gap between cutting-edge LLM applications and real-world clinical operations to improve patient access.

• Lead end-to-end technical implementations for major health systems, from initial scoping and API integration to production go-live and performance optimization.
• Architect and debug complex workflows involving EHRs, scheduling platforms, and telephony systems to handle insurance verification and clinical protocols.
• Partner with Product Engineering to transform customer-specific requirements into scalable platform features that accelerate future deployments.

• Professional software engineering background with deep proficiency in Python and a proven track record of shipping production-grade code.
• Strong experience working with APIs and complex integrations, ideally involving healthcare systems like EHRs or patient engagement platforms.
• Scrappy, resourceful problem-solver who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and can communicate technical concepts to non-technical healthcare stakeholders.
