The platform uses AI agents to navigate codebases, understand context, and provide actionable feedback on code changes. It helps teams catch bugs, identify security vulnerabilities, and merge pull requests faster—with customers reporting 28% faster PR merges. cubic integrates with GitHub, learns from senior developers' commenting patterns, continuously scans codebases for bugs and vulnerabilities, and enforces team-specific coding rules and best practices. The platform is designed to complement human code review rather than replace it, focusing on making technical review workflows more efficient.
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end feature development from initial ideation and rapid prototyping to deployment and iteration using Next.js, React, and Vercel AI SDK.
- Architect and build core AI-native review capabilities that help global software teams ship better code significantly faster.
- Collaborate directly with the founding team to influence the technical roadmap and product strategy for a platform reaching billions of end-users.
Who this is a fit for
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a demonstrated history of shipping complex products or maintaining significant open-source contributions.
- Strong proficiency in modern full-stack technologies including Next.js, React, Prisma, and Supabase, with an ability to own the entire product lifecycle.
- Exceptional product intuition and autonomy, possessing the pragmatism to act as your own PM and an obsession with the end-user experience.
