You will lead a three-month transition following a planned founder departure, ensuring technical continuity and platform stability. • Conduct a comprehensive technical handover from the outgoing CTO, documenting architecture, infrastructure, and deployment processes to eliminate single points of failure.
• Lead and unblock a small team of contractors and project managers while maintaining production uptime and security in a regulated clinical environment.
• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, setting technical priorities and vetting candidates for the permanent CTO position.

• Experienced CTO or senior engineering leader with a track record at early-stage startups and experience managing founder/executive transitions.
• Deep technical proficiency in Python, React, GCP, and agentic AI/LLM workflows, capable of making confident architecture decisions and reviewing production code.
