We started by building the UK’s largest flexible workforce of hyper-local students available for short 2–3 hour shifts, working with brands like PizzaExpress, Pret a Manger, Gails, and many more. Now, we’re combining that workforce with an AI tool – creating a platform that no competitor can replicate.
In just 10 months, our new AI software has surpassed £1m in ARR and we are on track to multiply that in the next 12 months. We are aggressively capturing the UK market, and international expansion is next - with plans to launch big in the US soon.
What you'll do
What you will do
- Build, test, and deploy scalable backend services and features using Python (Django) and Go within a cross-functional product pod.
- Design and evolve GraphQL APIs and data flows that power real-time shift management for thousands of venue partners.
- Help shape engineering best practices and clean architecture while making pragmatic technical calls to maintain high shipping velocity.
Who you are
Who this is a fit for
- Has 3+ years of commercial, production-level experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Is technically proficient across the stack with Python, Go, and PostgreSQL; experience with Flutter or AWS/EKS is highly valued.
- Thrives in high-energy, startup environments and holds a technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
