Product Engineer at Safi

You will own features end-to-end for AI-powered industrial tools, bridging the gap between machine learning models and real-world recycling plant operations. Working across the full stack, you will visit industrial sites to identify improvements, ship high-impact software for frontline workers, and play a pivotal role in scaling global circular economy infrastructure.

• Own the full product lifecycle from on-site plant discovery and requirements gathering to shipping production-ready features in Python and React.
• Collaborate with the ML team to translate complex model outputs into intuitive, rugged UIs used by forklift drivers and procurement managers.
• Design and monitor reliable systems that handle data connectors and foundational models for plants processing entire national waste streams.

• Proven experience as a Product Engineer who has taken products from 0 to 1 and possesses deep autonomy in shipping user-facing features.
• Strong technical proficiency in Python (Django/DRF), React/React Native, and PostgreSQL, with the ability to bridge stack gaps quickly.
• Professional background in building operational tools for logistics, supply chain, or ERP systems, and a willingness to travel regularly to industrial sites.
