Join Stint Ltd as a Senior Data Engineer and take the lead on a platform that reached £1m+ ARR in its first year. You will own the technical backbone of our AI-powered workforce management tools, scaling production pipelines and MLOps infrastructure on an AWS-first stack including SageMaker and Bedrock. At Stint, we’re using AI tools to transform how hospitality businesses operate. We started by building the UK’s largest flexible workforce of hyper-local students available for short 2–3 hour shifts, working with brands like PizzaExpress, Pret a Manger, Gails, and many more. Now, we’re combining that workforce with an AI tool – creating a platform that no competitor can replicate.
In just 10 months, our new AI software has surpassed £1m in ARR and we are on track to multiply that in the next 12 months. We are aggressively capturing the UK market, and international expansion is next - with plans to launch big in the US soon.
What you'll do
What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow (MWAA) and own the end-to-end data quality and incident response lifecycle.
- Architect and deploy diverse ML workloads, including traditional forecasting models and modern agentic chatbots, using AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, and Lambda.
- Optimize complex SQL across Athena, Redshift, and PostgreSQL while driving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption to improve platform reliability and developer experience.

- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on expertise in the AWS ecosystem, specifically S3, SageMaker, Lambda, and Glue.
- Pragmatic, incident-response mindset with the ability to triage production issues and a genuine interest in mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.
