Senior Software Engineer at Omen AI

You will lead the development of secure backend systems for real-time sensor data pipelines and ML inference at the edge. As a cornerstone of the engineering team, you'll establish the gold standard for security and compliance, specifically leading SOC2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certifications for high-value industrial environments.

• Design and scale high-performance backend services using Python or Go to handle sensitive industrial sensor data and real-time pipelines.
• Lead the technical implementation of SOC2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 compliance programs, ensuring security is foundational rather than an afterthought.
• Partner with existing senior staff to refine hardened cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and deploy ML inference models directly to edge computing devices.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a deep focus on backend development, high-performance services, and secure cloud architecture.
• Proven track record of owning security programs and successfully navigating early-stage companies through formal compliance audits like SOC2 or ISO 27001.
• Expertise in Python or Go, secure API design, and managing data privacy within sensitive, distributed enterprise environments.
