What you will do
- Design, build, and deploy full-stack features end-to-end, from database schema changes in PostgreSQL to the UI in React and React Native.
- Collaborate closely with the founding team to solve complex engineering challenges related to agentic AI and real-time grocery integrations.
- Lay the groundwork for Mealia’s engineering operations, ensuring the codebase is scalable, maintainable, and high-performing as the platform grows.
Who this is a fit for
- 4+ years of professional full-stack experience with a strong proficiency in React (Vite) and TypeScript to build robust web and mobile applications.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous, high-speed startup environments where you prioritize user impact and shipping functional products over perfection.
- Comfortable working across the entire stack, including backend development with Ruby on Rails, and preferably having experience building or hacking on your own startups.
