What you'll do

- Architect and evolve backend infrastructure using Python and TypeScript to handle millions of requests across distributed, real-time systems.
- Lead high-stakes, ambiguous projects that bridge APIs, data pipelines, and platform services to ensure enterprise-grade reliability and performance.
- Set engineering standards and mentor the team through code reviews and technical strategy, ensuring operational excellence across the entire platform.
Who you are
Who this is a fit for
- 7+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems at a high order of magnitude, ideally within a fast-paced startup environment.
- Expert proficiency in Python (Django/FastAPI) and TypeScript (Node.js) with a deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Proven ability to transform vague business requirements into robust technical designs and execute them with a high degree of autonomy.
