You will lead the property industry strategy, leveraging your deep BTR network to onboard institutional operators. This is a high-impact, equity-first role for a builder ready to own commercial growth for a category-defining fintech platform.

Nuba Rewards is a UK-based financial technology company that enables tenants to pay their rent by credit or debit card while earning reward points that can be redeemed for benefits such as future rent discounts, travel, hotels, and other perks.[4][8][16][19][22] Nuba acts as an intermediary in the payment process: renters pay Nuba using their chosen payment card, and Nuba then transfers the rent amount to the landlord via bank transfer, charging a small transaction fee depending on the card network.[8] The service is positioned as a PropTech solution focused on UK residential real estate, aiming to make rent payments more flexible, unlock card rewards on a major monthly expense, and provide smarter tenant finance tools and insights through its platform and blog content.[8][19][21][24]

What you will do

  • Execute the property-side go-to-market strategy by identifying and closing high-value partnerships with major UK Build-to-Rent (BTR) operators and institutional landlords.
  • Translate complex fintech and loyalty capabilities into a compelling commercial value proposition that focuses on resident retention, portfolio performance, and Net Operating Income.
  • Manage the entire commercial lifecycle from initial door-opening via your existing network to contract execution and long-term strategic relationship management.

Who this is a fit for

  • Possesses senior leadership experience (Director level or higher) within a major UK BTR operator or has successfully managed a P&L for a large-scale property business.
  • Brings an established “warm rolodex” of institutional property operator contacts, enabling immediate peer-to-peer engagement without the need for cold introductions.
  • Demonstrates a proven track record of personally closing significant commercial deals and exhibits the gritty, builder mentality required to scale an early-stage startup.
