Investor, Launch at Entrepreneurs First

Join the world’s leading talent investor and help turn the most ambitious technical founders into the next decade's unicorns. As the Investor for the San Francisco Launch program, you will be the engine taking global founders from 'pre-idea' to successful seed rounds with tier-1 US VCs. If you are a master connector with founder or VC experience who wants to be at the center of the Bay Area's startup ecosystem, this high-impact role offers the autonomy and access you've been looking for.

About this role

Role overview

You will lead the San Francisco "Launch" program, taking elite technical founders from global cohorts and accelerating them toward top-tier seed rounds. You'll serve as a strategic sparring partner, pressure-testing go-to-market strategies and navigating the Bay Area venture ecosystem to ensure founders secure funding from the world's most prestigious VC firms.

About the company

Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals51-200 employees

Entrepreneurs First invests in exceptional individuals to build startups from scratch. We bring together talented outliers to develop their most ambitious ideas and raise money from the world’s best investors.

Since pioneering Talent Investing in 2014, we’ve learned to recognize individuals with extraordinary futures before anyone else, embedding them in a community of ambitious peers and giving them the tools they need to succeed, fast. We back them before they have a company, a team, even before they have an idea, based purely on talent. The startups cofounded on our programs are now worth over $13B, and include Tractable, Magic Pony Technology, Cleo, La Vie, Aztec, Sonantic, and many more.

EF is backed by some of the world's leading founders and investors, including Patrick and John Collison (Stripe); Reid Hoffman (LinkedIn), Tom Blomfield (GoCardless and Monzo), Sara Clemens (Whatnot and Twitch); Demis Hassabis (Google Deepmind); and Matt Mullenweg (Wordpress). We exist to make great companies happen that otherwise wouldn’t.
