Role overview

You will build Scarlet’s communications function from the ground up, owning content strategy, social media, and PR. By shaping the narrative around regulated AI medical devices, you’ll define the voice of a critical global industry. This hands-on role involves writing high-impact stories, managing LinkedIn presence, and securing press coverage to drive brand equity.

Software

Scarlet certifies AI products on behalf of governments.

Today, Scarlet specialises in the certification of software and AI as medical devices (SaMD and AIaMD). As the only Notified Body in Europe specialising exclusively in certifying software and AI, Scarlet accelerates the transition to universally accessible healthcare by enabling manufacturers to certify their medical devices efficiently and make frequent software releases. Scarlet provides dual UK and EU market access.

What you will do

  • Create and edit world-class content, including customer success stories and technical blogs, to establish Scarlet as the definitive media voice in healthcare.
  • Lead Scarlet’s social media strategy, maintaining a high-quality daily cadence on LinkedIn to engage the industry and build brand authority.
  • Secure strategic press coverage and organize speaking opportunities at global conferences, elevating the profiles of Scarlet’s leadership team and technical experts.

Who this is a fit for

  • Brings 5+ years of experience in communications, journalism, or content creation with a portfolio demonstrating extraordinary writing and editorial judgment.
  • Possesses a high EQ and an insatiable curiosity for complex technical topics, with the ability to make them feel human, urgent, and accessible.
  • Thrives in a hands-on environment, prioritizing the creation and execution of original PR initiatives over managing large teams or external agencies.

Why this role is remarkable

  • Join Europe’s only specialized Notified Body for medical AI, sitting at the unique intersection of cutting-edge technology and global healthcare regulation.
  • Backed by Creandum with proven product-market fit and exponentially growing revenue, offering the stability of a successful firm with the autonomy of a startup.
  • Work directly with founders and world-leading experts, gaining unprecedented access to the most innovative companies in the medical technology sector.
