Product Manager at Drafter Inc.

As the first dedicated Product Manager, you will partner directly with the CEO and CTO to define the roadmap for an AI platform that automates complex hardware engineering workflows. You will bridge the gap between design intent and manufacturing, helping world-class mechanical teams reduce production cycles by months and reclaim 30% of their time.

• Lead the product roadmap by translating high-level strategy into clearly scoped requirements for an exceptional engineering team focused on complex technical products.
• Conduct weekly deep dives with customers at world-class hardware companies to identify patterns in mechanical engineering pain points and synthesize them into scalable features.
• Drive cross-functional clarity on trade-offs, dependencies, and risks, ensuring the team maintains high momentum while balancing speed and long-term product leverage.

• 3-10+ years of product management experience shipping complex software products, preferably with exposure to technical engineering workflows or manufacturing domains.
• Proven ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced startup environments and earn the trust of highly technical engineering teams through deep judgment and follow-through.
• Strategic thinker currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a relentless drive for ownership and the hustle required to outwork the competition in a high-intensity setting.
