Role overview

You will lead the charge in expanding a next-generation payments platform by closing high-stakes deals with enterprise fintechs and software platforms. By leveraging an API-first infrastructure, you'll help technical buyers modernize their card acceptance, navigating complex sales cycles to drive significant volume growth in a rapidly scaling ecosystem.

Highnote is the unified platform for modern card issuing, acquiring, credit, and money movement, purpose-built for embedded finance. It enables brands and digital enterprises to design, launch, and scale intelligent payment products including physical and virtual card issuance (debit, credit, charge, commercial, consumer), spend controls, multi-party wallets, credit management, and acquiring on a single cloud-native platform.

What you will do

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle for enterprise-grade acquiring deals, from initial outbound discovery and qualification to final contract execution.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with C-suite stakeholders, including CTOs and CFOs, at major fintech platforms and global merchants.
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to define winning market strategies and ensure seamless delivery of complex, embedded payment solutions.

Who this is a fit for

  • Brings 8+ years of high-performance sales experience, with at least 5 years specifically selling payment acceptance or acquiring infrastructure.
  • Possesses deep technical fluency in the payments ecosystem, including PayFac models, interchange, settlement flows, and API-first architectures.
  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate multi-stakeholder legal negotiations and complex technical discovery sessions.
