Role overview

As Dragonfly’s first dedicated commercial hire, you will build the company’s outbound motion from scratch. You will design messaging, sequences, and the tech stack to engage CTOs and Heads of Engineering at mid-market scale-ups. This is a high-impact role requiring an AI-native approach to generate quality pipeline for the founders.

Dragonfly is building the world’s first Automated Solutions Architect. We help businesses navigate the complex landscape of modern tools (SaaS, AI, Infrastructure) by using an AI-powered platform that understands their unique context and recommends the optimal tech stack. Our platform is powered by a proprietary knowledge graph of 230K+ products, 4M+ companies, and the relationships between them — built from 100+ external data sources, LLM-driven research, and human curation.

What you will do

  • Construct and execute a sophisticated outbound motion using AI-native tools like Apollo, Clay, and Dripify to reach senior engineering leaders.
  • Represent Dragonfly at industry events and conferences to generate high-quality pipeline through in-person pitching and networking.
  • Collaborate closely with the founders to refine the Ideal Customer Profile and iterate on messaging for scale-ups and mid-market companies.

Who this is a fit for

  • 2-3 years of B2B SDR/BDR experience with a documented track record of exceeding monthly quotas in an early-stage startup environment.
  • AI-native proficiency with deep experience using modern sales tools like Clay and Apollo to achieve personalization at scale.
  • Strong presence and communication skills, comfortable pitching to CTOs and VP Engineers both digitally and in physical roadshow environments.
