Role overview

As the first Lead for Forward Deployed Data Science, you will bridge the gap between complex modeling and executive decision-making. You will lead a high-ownership team to build site-selection and market-planning models for major clients. This role combines hands-on data science with strategic relationship management to transform how multi-million dollar real estate deals are won.

Commercial real estate workflows are fragmented and broken. Teams make multi-million dollar decisions off of under-utilized data, and spend more time stitching patchwork data together than underwriting the deal. There’s little-to-no closed loop allowing teams to learn from their wins - and their misses. GrowthFactor was built by three MIT classmates to fix that.

GrowthFactor is building the Salesforce for Real Estate. The platform allows teams to collaborate on the data finding, tracking, and analysis process with each other and with our GrowthFactor Agent to move faster and win deals. We augment our customer’s teams with a best-in-class Forward-Deployed Data Scientist team, called our Labs team, which partners with our customers to build unbeatable data insights and forecasts.

There is no home for commercial real estate. When we win, GrowthFactor will be the place all commercial real estate happens.

What you will do

  • Lead the forward-deployed team to oversee customer model buildouts, manage project timelines, and own high-stakes executive relationships.
  • Build and deploy sophisticated forecasting models for site-selection, market planning, and tenant selection using geospatial data and AI agents.
  • Communicate complex technical insights and pilot results to non-technical CXO stakeholders to drive customer acquisition and platform adoption.

Who this is a fit for

  • Proven track record of delivering data science models to executive stakeholders with measurable results, preferably within a consulting or FDE environment.
  • Deep expertise in building forecasting systems and working with geospatial data stacks like PostGIS, GeoJSON, and complex visualization tools.
  • Strong background in business analytics and ensemble models, with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 3+ years of experience.
