Role overview

As the first dedicated talent hire, you will report directly to the co-founder to scale a mission-driven team from 35 to 55+ in the next year. You will own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, building the foundations of a world-class hiring engine that automates administration to save the NHS.

Healthtech 1 Ltd is a UK-based startup specializing in automating administrative tasks within the UK's primary care sector, focusing on the National Health Service (NHS). Their mission is to automate repetitive, manual processes for healthcare systems, beginning with the NHS, to increase efficiency and reduce administrative burden for healthcare staff. Their solutions include Automated Registrations, Automated Lab Filing, and Automated GP2GP Filing, which have collectively saved significant NHS staff time and improved operational efficiency at GP practices across England. As of 2025, Healthtech 1 automates processes for a large share of GP practices and continues to expand its offerings to improve access to primary care.

What you will do

  • Execute full-cycle recruiting across engineering, product, and commercial roles with a target of 10+ accepted offers in your first quarter.
  • Design and implement a high-velocity headhunting playbook and outbound strategy to attract top-tier passive talent through LinkedIn and referrals.
  • Optimize candidate experience and hiring manager satisfaction, maintaining a transparent, data-driven reporting system for the entire recruitment funnel.

  • Possesses 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced recruitment agency environment followed by meaningful in-house startup experience.
  • Demonstrates operational excellence in managing 6+ roles concurrently while maintaining high candidate NPS and short time-to-hire metrics.
