What you will do
- Design and implement scalable data models and warehouse schemas using Kimball-style dimensional modelling techniques within a Snowflake environment.
- Build, test, and maintain robust dbt pipelines to transform raw data into documented, accessible datasets exposed via a Semantic Layer.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to optimize SQL query performance and manage deployments through GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines.
Who this is a fit for
- Has 2+ years of experience building complex SQL transformations and optimizing production dbt models for performance and maintainability.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of data warehouse design, specifically dimensional modelling including fact/dimension tables and slowly changing dimensions.
- Is proficient with version control via GitHub and comfortable working across the full lifecycle from business logic translation to technical implementation.
